Primary Sexual Dysfunction
This is a rare form of sexual dysfunction, when the person, who is otherwise in normal health has never wanted sex or been aroused physically. This is usually due to psychological factors. There are, on the other hand, rare genetic or hormonal problems that may account for this problem.
All the other categories of sexual dysfunction are referred to as causes of secondary sexual dysfunction. In other words, the patient’s sexual function was normal, now it isn’t, and it’s usually due to one of the problems listed.
