Solgar Betaine – Pepsin Tablets
Betaine HCL is necessary for the digestion of proteins, the absorption of minerals and to help support the digestive tract, supplementing HCL may encourage the body to increase its own production of stomach acid if needed and assist with normal digestion.
Directions for use: As a food supplement for adults, one (1) tablet, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Tablets should be swallowed with water do not chew.
Product Facts: Each tablet provides: Betaine Hydrochloride325mg (Equivalent to 11 drops of dilute Hydrochloric Acid USP) Pepsin (1:10,000 units)59mg
Tableted with these natural ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable stearic acid, silicon dioxide, cellulose gum, natural peppermint flavouring.
Caution: Not suitable for individuals with colitis, gastritis. Gastritis due to pregnancy or ulcerative conditions of the stomach or colon
Some individuals may suffer gastriitis during pregnancy and should not take this product in this situation.
