Highly bioavailable Calcium Tablets, combines calcium with malic acid for increased absorption and utilisation. Solgars DiCalcium Malate tablets provide a source of highly bio available organic calcium with the additional advantage of cellular energy support provided by malic acid.
Dicalcium malate offers advantages over the other organic calcium forms because each molecule of malic acid has two carboxyl groups instead of one, allowing a calcium ion to be attached at each carboxyl site. This effectively doubles the amount of calcium obtained from the malate complex. Therefore, Dicalcium malate delivers the best of both worlds: the superior solubility and bioavailability of calcium citrate with more elemental calcium per tablet. Another advantage is its extened half-life. A recent study found that of the four calcium forms tested, Dicalcium malate raised serum calcium levels for the longest period of time. In addition, malic acid is an organic acid that plays a key role in the production of cellular energy. It is specifically involved in the Krebs Cycle, a process that occurs inside the cells’ mitochondria and is crucial in the production of ATP – the energy molecule.

Directions For Use:
As a food supplement for adults, three (3) tablets daily, distributed throughout the day with meals, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
