Sun Care

The Diva loves the sun, but darlink it causes such nasty wrinkles!
90% of premature ageing is thought to be caused by sun damage, with children and teenagers being a growing risk group, German study concluded that even the mild to moderate sun exposure experienced by youngsters who spend time outdoors in Germany during the summer can produce moles with the potential to become cancerous. Light-skinned individuals, as well as those with a family history of skin cancer, are at elevated risk.
Sunlight contains three types of ultraviolet rays: UVA, UVB, and UVC.
UVA rays are responsible for the ageing effect of the sun; however, overexposure to UVA rays can cause skin cancer.
UVB rays are responsible for sunburns, cataracts and skin cancer.
UVC rays are the most dangerous, but fortunately, these rays are blocked by the ozone layer and don’t reach the earth.
